  • Jill Piunti, President

    Jill founded MarketPro in December of 1999. Jill has extensive experience in the management, due diligence, lease administration and consulting of office, industrial, retail and residential properties across all classes.

    Prior to founding MarketPro, Ms. Piunti was formerly a Property Manager and Business Unit Manager at the Willis (formerly Sears) Tower from 1994 - 1999 managing 103 Tenants, 5 restaurants, and 15 Broadcast Tenants. Jill also managed the parking facilities, conference center and health club facilities at the John Buck Company and Trizec Properties. Under her management, The Willis Tower received its first ever TOBY (The Office Building of the Year) Award, the health club and conference center was developed as well as major lobby renovations, window replacement projects and approximately $50 million in capital improvement projects were undertaken.

    Ms. Piunti also served as Property Manager with Rubloff, Inc., at The Rookery Building from 1991 - 1994. Under her management, the property transformed from a property scheduled to be demolished with no tenants, to a $100 million dollar renovated historical landmark property fully leased.

    In 1999, Jill decided to create her own firm with a consultative approach. She developed several proprietary databases created to track leases and critical dates as well as providing her clients with desk top references and customizing reports for investor reporting.

    A 33-year veteran of the commercial and residential real estate industry in the public and private sectors, Ms. Piunti, as president of MarketPro has facilitated her team or personally served in the capacity of property management, lease administration, due diligence, construction draws, transition management, lease audits, consulting and/or leasing efforts at many noteworthy developments throughout the country, totaling over 70 million square feet and over 5,000 properties.

  • Arthur C West, RPA, CPM

    Arthur C West, RPA, CPM has been with MarketPro since 2014. Art has over 45 years’ experience in the management and operations of Class "A” commercial, residential, industrial and retail facilities throughout Chicago area. Art contributed to our client portfolio by offering his extensive experience in the industry on several successful projects. Included are a two property 1/2 million square feet new suburban Chicago management transition for Lincoln Property Company; a million square feet downtown Chicago building sale and interim management assignment for CBRE and a due diligence and building inspection of over 1 million square feet downtown office building for the Hearn Group, just to name a few recently completed projects for very pleased clients.

    Art retired from the General Manager position of The Chicago Board of Trade ("CBOT") Building, responsible for asset management, leasing, special projects and day to day property management. Under his direction, the management and the CBOT Building won numerous prestigious awards for both management excellence and for a major renovation and restoration. Some of these include the Local Building Owners and Managers Association's (BOMA) TOBY (The Office Building of the Year) Award two successive years, plus both the Regional and International TOBY in his final year at CBOT. After retirement, he served as a contract consultant regarding building management at the historic Chicago Temple Building, located at 77 West Washington Street in Chicago, IL.

    Art's past impressive portfolios also include the historic Pittsfield Building, the Time and Life Building, Prudential Plaza and supervision of a 6 million square feet portfolio of office, industrial and retail properties for Rubloff, as well as Midwest Regional Manager for Dallas-based Prentiss Properties. While at Prentiss directed and leased 5 million sf of commercial, retail and primarily industrial properties in suburban Chicago, Milwaukee, New Jersey and Kansas City. Art also led a team to both acquire the assignment and subsequently to consult on the management of the Petronas Towers in Kuala Lampur, Malaysia- at the time, the tallest building in the world.

    Art has a Bachelor of Science degree in Management from St. Joseph's College in Rensselear, IN and an MBA from DePaul University in Chicago. In addition to holding an IL Managing Broker's license, he has both a Real Property Administrator (RPA) from BOMA and a Certified Property Manager (CPM) designation from IREM. Art has been active in BOMA in the local, regional and national levels, including two terms as Regional Chairman of BOMA's Congressional Network and served as TOBY judge multiple years at the local, regional and international levels. He was also active with the Realtors Association and the Institute of Real Estate Management, and is a long-time member of several real estate organizations including the Commercial Real Estate Network (CREN), The Property Club and the Realty Club of Chicago. He recently served as Chairman of The Centennial Committee for the prestigious Realty Club of Chicago.

  • Karen Crum, CPA

    Karen Crum, CPA is a Senior Vice President and has been with MarketPro since 2001. Karen has 34 years of experience in the property management and accounting industry.

    Karen offers a detailed and comprehensive approach to the accounting side of MarketPro’s team. She began her career at Ernst & Young as an auditor with several real estate clients. She then accepted a position with The John Buck Company where she was responsible for preparing the financial statements for several buildings.

    Ms. Crum then moved to property management with The John Buck Company where she simultaneously managed a building and served on the asset management team for which she traveled to new properties to help establish the property management and accounting systems.

    Karen contributes to our client portfolio by handling the due diligence, property accounting, construction draw accounting, financial monthly reporting, budgeting, and consulting with respect to accounting and reporting processes. She brings a unique approach, by being able to understand all sides of the process – the management, the accounting and the auditing. She has received a BS in accounting at the University of Illinois, and holds certifications in both CPA and RPA.

  • Janet Caldanaro, Senior Lease Administrator

    Janet Caldanaro, Senior Lease Administrator, has been with MarketPro since 2008. She possesses a BS in Business Management from the University of Illinois.

    Janet's responsibilities are dedicated to lease administration. She is responsible for abstracting and reviewing Leases and related documents, and providing Lease Abstracts, Critical Dates and Monthly Lease Administration Reports to our clients.

    Janet also performs Due Diligence for clients including lease abstracting, financial due diligence, rent roll reconciliation and on-site file review. Janet produces and delivers monthly and quarterly reports, and monthly billing for our clients. She maintains relationships with clients and acts as a first point-of-contact for any client issue or question. She is responsible for filing all client paperwork and accounts payable items.

    Janet is a self-motivated employee with the ability and experience to provide immediate productivity. She can provide whatever it takes to meet and exceed deadlines and always strives to improve our efficiencies and processes. Janet also trains new employees on lease abstracting and all procedures and processes.

  • Amy Bogenrief

    Amy Bogenrief joined MarketPro in November of 2019 as a Construction Draw Facilitator. She is responsible for assembling the documents needed in draw packages submitted to the Lender and Title Companies for construction draw pay-outs for commercial property projects. Her strong attention to detail and diligence in reviewing invoices, pay applications, and lien waivers for accuracy helps guarantee a smooth and timely process for the pay-outs to contractors and vendors. She communicates efficiently and effectively with property managers and contractors to resolve open issues with missing documents and those that require revision. Once a draw pay-out is made, Amy will cross check the payment ledgers for accuracy and quickly alert the title company for resolution of any discrepancy to ensure contractors receive the correct payments as soon as possible. From start to finish, Amy comprehensively makes sure each the draw process runs smoothly, on time, with precision, accuracy, and organization.

    Amy is very detail oriented.  She accesses clients’ databases to make sure documents provided for projects are complete, current, and relevant to the need of the project. Amy has taken voluminous documents given to MarketPro from clients/tenants and organized them into functional, working materials. 

    Amy received a Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Science with a minor in Mathematics from Michigan State University, as well as membership into Phi Beta Kappa. Through her multi-faceted experiences, Amy has honed her craft of focus and attention to detail and discernment for the required and necessary information along with developing soft skills for dealing with many personalities encountered in the workplace.

  • Bob DeMarke

    With over 35 years of Commercial Property Management experience, Bob’s expertise is the financial and operational oversight, capital planning, value engineering, construction management, and due diligence requirements of commercial real property.

    RD Property Service, LLC

    In January 2020, Bob formed RD Property Service, LLC to offer expert consulting, receivership services, due diligence, and property management for commercial office, retail, and industrial properties. Current assignments include management of a 4-sq. block retail association in suburban Chicago, Construction Management / Owners Representation for a ground up community center development, and ongoing commercial receivership assignments.

    Experience and Capabilities

    From 2004 through 2019 Bob worked for Transwestern, a national real estate services firm. Through progressive responsibilities, he came to direct property management and provided operational and engineering oversight of Transwestern’s 10 million SF Chicago portfolio, which included downtown and suburban commercial office, industrial, and retail properties. Clients included Bentall Kennedy, American Realty Advisors, State Farm, and W.P. Carey. Bob was assigned to be court-appointed receiver for 15 properties during the period 2012 – 2017 for special servicers LNR and CIII.

    Prior to joining Transwestern, Bob was a Senior Portfolio Manager with Cushman & Wakefield, overseeing property management and operations of 10 million RSF of office buildings and facilities in Chicago, St. Louis, Minneapolis and Detroit. He handled all management issues for clients including MetLife, Prudential, Wells, and TIAA.
